Each order includes a packing slip of the materials included, but it doesn’t show the price of the gift.
Manufacturing & Sustainability
We use organic, Fairtrade Certified cotton to make our socks. It’s Vegan Certified and is not treated with herbicides or pesticides.
The paper used in our tags and boxes is made from recycled materials and is recyclable.
We’re currently in the process of reducing all unnecessary packaging.
Our factory is constantly vetted by independent groups and regularly undergoes social and factory audits from recognized groups such as WRAP and SEDEX. It is certified by OEKO-TEX, Global Organic Textile Standards (GOTS) and Fairtrade International.
Our representatives based in India visit regularly, and our U.S. team visits annually. Our most recent visit was in January 2019.
Our socks are manufactured in India, the largest producer of organic cotton as of 2018.
At the moment we’re focusing on supporting our existing partnerships. If anything changes, we’ll make it known!
Our partners were chosen to align with the Sustainable Development Goals adopted by all United Nations Member States in 2015. These provide a shared blueprint for peace and prosperity for people and the planet.
Orders & Shipping
We are not able to edit or cancel orders after they have been placed. Don't worry - returns are easy and we're committed to getting you the right order. Reach out to us at email@example.com as soon as possible after your order is placed and we can help find a solution!
Orders may be subject to import taxes, customs duties, and/or fees imposed by the destination country. Please look up your country's duty regulations to see if duties apply to your order. Conscious Step is not responsible for any additional charges that may apply.
Orders are processed within 1-4 business days and take 3-5 business days for shipping within the US. Typically east coast orders will take about 3 days to ship, while west coast orders may take up to 5 days.
International orders and orders to Hawaii and Alaska take 7-10 days for shipping.
Orders placed during the holiday season may take an extra day or two to reach their destination due to the uptick in orders with UPS and USPS. We appreciate your patience!

Where does Conscious Step ship to? We currently ship to the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, the UK, Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain and Sweden.
For US customers, orders ship from our warehouse in New Haven, Connecticut.
For Australia and New Zealand customers, orders ship from our warehouse in Sydney, Australia.
Other international orders will be shipped from whatever warehouse is closest to your location.
If you can’t access your Conscious Step account, it may not have been activated. After you open your account, you’ll be sent an account activation email. Make sure you activate your account to be able to log in for future purchases. If you’re still having issues, drop us a line and we’ll help you out!

We donate $1 per pair, $1 per candle and $5 per sweatshirt to our nonprofit partner.
We recommend washing with cold water and drying on low heat. This helps reduce shrinkage and energy consumption, that’s good for the socks and for the planet!
Our socks are composed of 75% Fairtrade Organic Cotton, 23% Polyamide and 2% Spandex.
Organic cotton is not treated, so laundering on low heat will cause some shrinkage during the first wash. This is normal! After the first wash, they won’t shrink anymore.

We are happy to exchange any unworn product that is still in its original packaging within 30 days of purchase. We offer free return postage for US orders. Return postage is not provided for international orders including Canadian orders. Once we receive the products, we will mail your new items. Click here to start the exchange process.
We allow any purchases made during the holiday season extra time to be returned or exchanged. Any purchase made on our site from November or December can be returned or exchanged throughout January. Products must be unworn and in their original packaging. We do not accept returns of subscription orders or digital gift cards. Click here to begin the return process.

Prepaid subscriptions receive a preselected style aligned with the highlighted cause each month.
Subscriptions that are paid monthly are able to select the style they receive each month by logging into their account and clicking 'Manage Subscription.'

Conscious Step Rewards
Signing up is easy! Create an account on our Rewards page and enter your name, email, and password. It’s free to join and you will have the opportunity to rise through the tiers, earning more perks as you go. If you currently have an account or email subscription with us - you’ve already been enrolled in our rewards program so you can kick back, sign in, and start earning.
Our rewards program is tiered, so you’ll earn more perks the more you engage with Conscious Step. Members receive rewards points for each purchase, that can then be redeemed towards the cost of future purchases. Plus, there’s no cost to sign up so you can start earning points immediately!You also earn points for sharing with friends, following us on social media, leaving product reviews, and signing up for texts! In addition to earning points, members have the chance to earn free shipping and get early access to sales, launches, and more. You can view the full list of perks by tier on our rewards page.
We took care of that for you! All customers with an active account were automatically enrolled in our rewards program. If you have had more than one customer account with us, please note that only one rewards account was created per person.
Any purchases you made during the year are already credited to your account when you create an account. The purchases are tracked through the email account you use, so be sure to use the right one when signing up!

Exchanging your points for great rewards couldn't be easier! Simply visit the Rewards page to view all of our great reward options and click the 'Redeem' button to redeem your chosen reward. Or, when you get to checkout, choose your coupon from the dropdown menu and it will be added to your cart.
Nope! That’s the best part about being a rewards member! You will always have an opportunity to earn more points by shopping with us and engaging with our brand and community online. However, points do expire after 1 year of inactivity (ex. Not engaging with the program rewards, placing an order, etc.)
Higher tiers in the VIP tier program earn more points at a quicker rate, but 100 points always = $10 dollars. For Example, as an enthusiast, you will earn 1 point for every dollar you spend. So, if you spend $150, you'll earn 150 points = $15 dollars.When you move up to become an activist, you will be earning points 1.25x as fast, ex. spend $100→ earn 125 points.The world-changers will earn points 1.5x as fast, earning $15 dollars on a $100 purchase.
Your points will expire after one year of inactivity. Inactivity includes not interacting with our program i.e., redeeming points, placing an order, etc.
Yes. If you are returning the entire order, we will refund you the total dollar amount spent after the discount was applied. The points you used to redeem the discount will also be added back into your rewards account.
If you use your rewards towards a purchase and later decide to return that item, your rewards will be credited back to your rewards account. For example, if you use $10 coupon towards a $100 purchase that you decide to return, the $90 balance will be refunded on your credit card and the $10 reward credit will be deposited back into your rewards account.
Double-check you were signed into your rewards account and didn’t accidentally check out as a guest. You must be logged in when making purchases to earn points. If you have done this in error, contact us at email@example.com to help apply your points to your account. You also won’t receive points if you return your purchase or your purchase is canceled for any reason. Please note that any points you earn on a purchase you later return will be deducted from your point balance.

On your birthday we will send you a special discount code via email valid for 30 days from the date of your b-day!*Your birthday code is non-transferable and may not be sold or assigned to anyone else. If we feel someone is trying to manipulate the program, we reserve the right to terminate your account at our discretion.
