What are they made of?

Our candles are handmade in small batches by a family-owned supplier in Michigan that is dedicated to using ingredients that are better for you and the environment. No matter which scent you choose, you can count on clean ingredients like locally harvested beeswax, coconut oil, and phthalate-free fragrance.

Why beeswax? Are there any benefits?

Beeswax is a natural byproduct from bees that is excreted as they produce honey, so it’s an easily renewable resource. It creates a candle that burns longer (our 9oz candle has a powerful 60 hour burn time) and pulls toxins from the air as it ionizes the air. Since they are not oil-based like regular paraffin wax candles, they burn very cleanly with little smoke when trimmed properly. 

How are these giving back?

These do more than just smell nice. Each one gives $1 back to a corresponding nonprofit partner for even more feel-good feelings. And, as a 1% for the Planet partner, we’re giving back even more to help create a better future for all.
