From backyard tag to little league games, sports and active play are more than just ways for kids to burn off energy. They’re essential building blocks for growth! Whether they’re dribbling a soccer ball or scoring their first basket, kids develop confidence, teamwork, and problem-solving skills through movement. Plus, staying active helps them build strong bodies, sharp minds, and a lifelong love for healthy habits. But today, rising program fees, the rise of pay-to-play sports, and cuts to recess and PE programs are making it harder for kids to stay active. That’s why we’re partnering with Good Sports to keep kids in the game!

Good Sports is on a mission to make youth sports more accessible, ensuring kids can reap lifelong benefits like better health, stronger academic performance, and improved social skills. They partner with over 2,000 pre-vetted schools and youth organizations in high-need communities across the country, donating brand-new sports gear, apparel, and footwear to remove equipment costs as a barrier to play.

The impact is game-changing: kids get the equipment they need to participate, while programs can use their budgets to grow, support coaches, and offer life-changing services like tutoring and mentorship. Since its founding, Good Sports has donated over $115 million in sporting equipment, reaching 10 million children across all 50 states and Puerto Rico.

Their She Who Plays initiative focuses on increasing access for girls, who are twice as likely to drop out of sports by age 14 due to a lack of resources, representation, and opportunity. By providing brand-new equipment to programs in low-income communities, She Who Plays helps girls build confidence, develop essential life skills, and stay in the game.

Every child deserves the chance to play. That’s why we’re proud to support Good Sports in breaking down barriers and making sports accessible for all kids, no matter their circumstances. With every pair that Supports Youth Sports, you can help someone score their first goal, discover a new passion, or make a lifelong friend. So, let’s keep them in the game!
